MURLI REFLECTIONS

We are here in the game of transformation. It is a big transformation because over a
period of time, we have gone into a 100% upside down position, to the extent
that we don't even realise that we are upside down.
How? Who? These invisible angelic souls, they
are angelic princes from God's family. They are in this world of dolls, trapped by so many
attachments until they start to believe that they are the dolls. They also create ego around the dolls’
things, even the dolls’ shoes. They stubbornly take offence and are ready to
declare war. What is going on is madness, it’s a mad house.
And it is not a superficial transformation.
Baba's words were, ‘Baba teaches you how to die and to come back to the new
life’. Is this dying easy? Dying to the ego, is it easy? You might like to
think that it is easy but, just like any creature would, ego will fight to the very
end because no-one wants to die. So here too, ego will resist. That is why it
is a two-level programme: one, is that you are aware of the game of a second
and also, that you’re on a pilgrimage. You are aware and you understand what is
beyond. You wake-up and get a glimpse of this. You are experiencing soul awareness but, on the other
hand, every minute that you are with Baba, you have the experience of churning
knowledge, doing the different things that Baba said, the different practices,
involving yourself in service and experimenting with soul consciousness.
It is like taking a step. You are nourishing
the angel within you and purification is happening. Body consciousness is
going. Something similar happened on Ravan’s pilgrimage. When we go into body
consciousness, we don’t want to sink
to such a level of madness in the world of dolls but, we come into this drama
and we only think of this world, this world of clay. We become impressed by the
glitter and the gold and we think of human beings. All of this nourishes the
ego, drop by drop. In the end, it creates a big ego and we then have to deal
with that monster.
We are doing
the same thing but the other way round. On this journey, we renounce the body,
bodily expansion, and the world of clay. Don't keep thinking about it, you
know, don't get impressed by it. Now that you know, that you have understood, you
are progressing and moving forward, in the right direction. Don't take a step
backwards.
This is a two-way
programme. Don’t be disheartened that ego has not died. You are winning. Every minute that you
are moving forward, you are winning and the ego is getting weaker. So, the pilgrimage is going on and, now and
then, there will be a big leap: you will get new insights and new realisations,
and that is the way that we win this game.
Baba's
emphasis was also on service. Be creative in this. Others are in this world of
darkness. They don't want to come out of it and they think that it is totally
normal for them to be in it. Ego is fully settled there. Our biggest success is
when we give those who are in that environment a realisation, an understanding,
an understanding of aspects of knowledge, through your museum or just a little handout.
They should get a realisation and when they do, it means that you are
progressing in doing world service. It can be on an individual level or on a global
level.
Create this momentum of realisations. One step,
then another step, and that will continue to take them to the world of full
light.
